CARDIAC REGISTERED NURSE

Deuk Spine Institute is currently looking for a full time experienced Cardiac Registered Nurse with a minimum five years of cardiology office experience to work alongside our Interventional Cardiologist and join our clinical staff:

Job description includes, but is not limited to, the following:

•        Administration of pharmacologic and chemical stress.
•        Triage cardiac patients (plus telephone triage).
•        Run coumadin clinic.
•        Post procedural follow ups (vascular access site complication).
•        Holter and event recorder monitoring.
•        Coordinating pacer/ICD clinic with industry device reps.

Must be actively licensed in the state of Florida and be ACLS certified and serving as a member of the health care team assisting in the promotion of physical and emotional comfort for the patient. Other duties and responsibilities include determining patient care needs and directing patients accordingly, examining patients for appropriate care and treatment, reviewing medical records and films to determine the correct course of treatment, answering patient questions regarding care, working with MAs to ensure continuity of patient care, helping on call for after hours with patients from the clinic and/or hospital, documenting patient medical care and progress, completing medical documentation and required paperwork for procedures or DME equipment, and complying with HIPAA and OSHA guidelines to ensure the safety and privacy of the patients and employees.

In addition to active license requirements, applicants must have basic computer skills and knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook, and be able to use standard office equipment.

ECHOCARDIOGRAPHER

Deuk Spine Institute's Interventional Cardiologist requires a part-time Echocardiographer. Must be certified in Cardiac Sonography.

Job description includes, but is not limited to, the following:

a. Able to work independent of physician.

b. Able to perform an average of  12-15 cardiac cases per day. 

c. Able to perform full vascular duplex studies including carotid, upper and lower extremity duplex, ABI with bidirectional duplex, AAA rule out, DVT studies, and renal arteries.
